This year in Sheboygan, 100 Thousand Poets for Change is going all out.  With support from Mead Public Library we will present Wisconsin's current poet laureate, Kimberly Blaeser, the amazing musical group, Sheboygan Light Rail, and of course, an open mic where all of you can participate.

The schedule of the day:

Open Mic: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. (open mic sign-up begins at 12:45)

Featured poet, Wisconsin Poet Laureate Kimberly Blaeser: 2:00 - 2:30 p.m.

Music by Sheboygan Light Rail: 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. (poetic surprises interwoven throughout the musical set)

Come and join us!  Deland Home Park is a beautiful setting overlooking the bluff with a view of Lake michigan.  Bring a blanket, a chair, friends, poems, monologues and songs.  We'll provide some light snacks and water.  Enjoy an afternoon dedicated to peace, justice, and sustainability through poetry, story and song.
