Program Description

Mead Library will be sponsoring a chess program in the Landwehr Children's Library Center on every 4th Wednesday of the month. The remaining dates will be April 27th and May 25th. Anybody is welcome, even though the program is geared toward youth.
Starting at 3:30pm, there will be instruction available for one hour. It is preferred that people new to chess arrive on time to allow for efficient use of instruction time.
If you already know how to play, you are welcome to just sit down and play at any time. Feel free to bring your own board but the library's boards will need to be packed up and put away by 5pm.
