Join the Mead Public Library, The Sheboygan Symphony, and author/illustrator Jill Newton in making simple instruments to gear up for the video of the world premiere musical adaptation of "Crash Bang Donkey" a children's picture book, scheduled to debut on the Mead Public Library's Facebook page, and YouTube page on February 20th, 2021.

The book, "Crash Bang Donkey", inspired the creation of an original symphony by musician and composer Joshua Guarisco. It debuted at the Weill Center for the Performing Arts in February 2019 as part of the Sheboygan Symphony's Teddy Bears and Tunes Concert.  We have compiled video footage from the performance, to bring it back to life for you.

So grab a kit, and make an instrument to play music along with Donkey and his barnyard friends.  Kit includes materials to make 1 simple instrument, intructions designed by Jill Newton, and a copy of the book.  Copies of the book are limited to one per family, for the first 35 families only, as supplies are limited.

Kits are available for pickup between February 15- February 20th.
