The Sheboygan County Historical Society & Museum is featuring an exhibit and associated Brown Bag Lunch Program as part of Mead Public Library's Common Heritage Grant.

The Community Curated exhibit, prepared by museum staff member Tamara Lange, will highlight examples of Sheboygan history digitized as part of the grant. Running through mid-October, the exhibit can be viewed during the Museum's regular operating hours (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or during special events. Access to the Community Curated exhibits is free of charge, however regular admission will apply to other Museum facilities.

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, museum staff member David Reese will host a free Brown Bag Lunch program at the museum exploring the local historical context of the materials and the personal memories of participants whose historical items are part of the exhibit. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to enjoy during the program, which begin at 11:30 a.m.

The exhibits and programs are part of “Preserving the History of Sheboygan through Digital Images” which has been made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities: Exploring the human endeavor.
