This hour long, hands-on class covers basic computer skills, focusing on Windows computers.
Target skills include:
- identifying different types of computers
- identifying parts of a computer
- controlling a computer mouse
- identifying common symbols on the computer screen
We will be starting with "the differences between a laptop and desktop" and "how does a mouse work?"
After this class, you should be more comfortable working through computer How-Tos and receiving over-the-phone computer help. Computers will be available for those who don't have their own.
We'll also provide resources for independent practice so you can keep learning on your own.
