Friends of Mead Annual Meeting

The Friends annual meeting is quickly approaching. This year the meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, in the Loft (third floor of the library) starting at 1:00 p.m. As always, the meeting will include a vote for members of the Friends Board. If you or someone you know is interested in serving on the board, please submit your name prior to the meeting in order to be placed on the ballot for the vote. To be a board member, you need only to have an active Friend membership.
Following the meeting, there will be a program offered and light refreshments will be served.
This year’s program will feature Library Director Garrett Erickson reporting on all the latest happenings at Mead, followed by a special presentation from the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. Director Sam Gappmayer will be speaking about the new Art Preserve - a 54,000-square-foot satellite facility designed to elevate the experience of its collection to new heights.
Come and hear what the Friends have accomplished this past year, learn about the new arts addition to Sheboygan and help us plan for the year ahead!
