Friends of Mead Annual Meeting

The Friends will host their annual meeting on April 23 in The Loft starting at 1:30PM. Election of members to the Board of Directors will be held. Those directors up for reelection are Marge Giesen, Joan King, Audrey Kruger, Pat Mahlendorf, Donna Mae Ringel, and Cheryl Schoenenberger. Judy Zimmermann is interested in becoming a member of the Board and her name will also be on the ballot. Nancy Stephani and Mary Ann Neuses are leaving the board in April.

Also on the agenda is a discussion of change in by-laws. Copies of the amended by-laws will be available prior to the vote.

Garrett Erickson, Library Director, will present a program called “What’s New at Mead.” We have new programming and equipment, a new Makerspace on the 2nd Floor and new furniture in the Café just to name a few items. Refreshments will be served. Come and join the Friends or renew your membership.
