Join veteran herbalist Linda Conroy for this fun and inspiring program. We will begin with a virtual herb walk, looking at the nourishing herbs that grow around us. Following the "walk" a demonstration of how to transform these herbs into a delicious salad, infused vinegar and salad dressings will be offered. The first 20 participants will have the opportunity to make an infused vinegar to take home. Everyone will leave recipes and the inspiration to incorporate herbs into their daily life.

Linda Conroy is veteran bioregional herbalist with over 20 years experience. She dedicates her life to connecting with the green world. Her primary mentors are the plants who never cease to instill a sense of awe in her daily life. Linda’s primary human mentors are Susun Weed, Isla Burgess and Marshall Rosenberg. For close to two decades Linda has presented programs throughout the Midwest as well as other parts of the country. She is the creator of the ever popular Wild Eats Community Meals as well as Moonwise Herbs (www.moonwiseherbs.com).

Free program funded by the Friends of Mead Public Library.
