Literacy Council of Sheboygan County is hosting this community forum for anyone who is interested in learning about the cultures of the new refugees to Sheboygan County.
In order to understand the magnitude of culture shock refugees are experiencing, this program will provide a basic overview of common differences between Eastern and Western cultures. We hope to help diffuse the ways that culture can create misunderstandings and frustration and feelings of having been disrespected by exploring these differences beforehand. Jenny Goodman of Crossroads Community Church will present.
