Program Description

Event Details

Inspiring dreams of spring, participants will create enchanting frozen flower ice sculptures that resemble watercolor paintings to welcome Mead Public Library visitors with a collaborative ephemeral art display.  We will meet outside the Rocca Room in the Lobby.  The class takes place outdoors.

Program is brought to you in collaboration with Bookworm Gardens. 

Preregistration is required. Class is limited to 25 participants, children under 14 must be signed up with an adult.

 

Allissa Montgomery is the Garden and Facilities Manager at Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan Wisconsin.  Her experience in public gardens and not for profit organizations has spanned over six years, having worked as the Head Gardener at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center before joining Bookworm Gardens in the spring of 2016. Allissa has studied history and Education at Marquette University and Horticulture at Milwaukee Area Technical College, with a focus on Landscape Maintenance, Design and Arboriculture.
