An introduction to the concepts and techniques of watercolor painting. This is a three-part series to be held on Feb. 14, 21 and 28, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., for adults and teens. Advance registration is required and may be done by calling 459-3400, ext. 3422, beginning Jan. 11. Participants are expected to be able to attend all three sessions, please. All supplies will be provided. The series is funded by the Mead Public Library Foundation and the Friends of Mead Public Library.

The presenter is Dionne Landgraf, Associate Professor of Art at Silver Lake College, and her assistant, Cassie Hebert. Dr. Dionne Landgraf received a BA from Rutgers University, an MFA from Northern Illinois University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Dionne is an accomplished artist and art instructor with extensive teaching and exhibition experience. She is committed to teaching future art educators as Director of Art Education at Silver Lake College. She is actively engaged in studio processes. In her work, she hopes to touch the experiences of others. In her teaching, she hopes to assist others to express themselves aesthetically at the highest human level.
