Join the Education Committee of the Sheboygan Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Initiative (SDEIBI) to watch a series of thought-provoking films centering on DEI issues in education. Each film screening will be followed by a facilitated discussion. Join us to start important conversations in our community around these crucial topics.
Films will be screened at each event, but can also be viewed online for free (Kanopy access requires a library card). A virtual particpation option via Zoom will be shared with all registratants
Masks are required at all programs held inside the library, regardless of vaccination status.

Movies to Educate and Advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging is hosted by Mead Public Library and the Sheboygan Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Initiative (SDEIBI): a diverse group of community activists committed to an equitable and inclusive Sheboygan. This group was formed in 2019 to discuss and address Diversity, Equity,Inclusion, Belonging (DEIB) in Sheboygan. The members represent communities and school districts throughout Sheboygan County along with a variety of backgrounds and affiliations.
