Event Details

The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the newly renovated Mead Public Library Plaza. The event will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7. No RSVP is required.

The project, which began in spring, included repairs to the water feature outside the library along with improvements to the walkways and seating areas surrounding the building.

The parking lot entrance and book return were also re-worked to improve access for patrons using disability parking. In addition, the clocktower was removed, however, the brass sculptures on each of the tower’s four sides are now displayed on Eighth Street.
