Join New York-based American Pop artist and author Michael Albert for a live Zoom art workshop!
Please register below for the workshop and to receive an optional take-home maker kit (let us know in the comments box if you do not want the maker kit). You are also welcome to use cereal boxes and other food packaging from home. The program is open to teens and adults.
The take-home maker kits feature supplies for the Zoom workshop along with materials for three additional projects that Albert will demonstrate in a series of pre-recorded videos that will be shared on the Mead Public Library YouTube channel. The videos will be available beginning Nov. 14 and can be done on your own time: Cerealism, Text-based Collage and Color-based Collage.

About Michael Albert:
Michael Albert lives and works in New York, just outside of New York City, and he will be bringing his new virtual art programs to Sheboygan. Albert is the author of an artist autobiography titled, “An Artist’s America” (Henry Holt, 2008) and is nationally known for making art from cereal boxes and other printed cardboard consumer brand packages.
For the past decade Michael Albert has been making a summer tour of libraries and museums with his Pop Art Collage workshops including stops at several Wisconsin libraries and museums in 2019. Due to the current COVID-19 situation and the cancellation of most in-person programming, Michael Albert has developed virtual, interactive art experiences that you can share with him from home.
