Rain & Rainbows: Embracing Spring Weather with Meteorologist Brooke Brighton of Spectrum Weather
Learn how rain and rainbows form.  Experiment with at-home projects.

  • Make It Rain
This will show how when the clouds become saturated, rain will start to come through.
You will need: a clear plastic cup, shaving cream and food coloring.
  • Reflect a Rainbow
This shows how when the sunlight passes through the water, it is broken up into all sorts of colors.
You will need a glass of water, a white sheet of paper and sunlight.

*Registration is limited.  You will be emailed the Zoom link on March 19, the day before WinterGreen.

Brooke Brighton is an on-air meteorologist at Spectrum News 1 - Wisconsin. Brooke is so happy to embark on this new adventure and be closer to family. From Madison to Sheboygan to Fond du Lac to Oshkosh, Brooke has family all across the state! It is a requirement at each family gathering that a cheese and salami spread is included.

Brooke has started to explore different cities in Wisconsin, but there are so many more to visit! If you have any recommendations on places to go or things to do, don't hesitate to reach out! Oh, and Brooke is determined to find the best cheese curds in Wisconsin, so if you have any leads, let her know.
