WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Students in grades 3 through 12.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Write a scary story of 800 words or less.
The story must be your own creation.
Stories will be judged on originality, creativity and quality of writing.
Use your imagination to create a thrilling story that has suspense and is scary, but please — no blood or violence.
Email your story with your name, grade and school by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10 to alison.loewen@meadpl.org
Teachers may send a link to a google folder with student entries instead of emailing each individually.
The winners will receive prizes and have their stories published in The Sheboygan Press the week leading up to Halloween.
