Event Details
Mead Library is delighted to be participating in this year's Sheboygan Gallery Night—an evening to "explore the vibrant arts scene of Sheboygan as galleries, studios, and businesses open their doors to showcase the incredible talents of local artists".
We will be featuring local artists participating in SGN, as well as highlighting some of the local artists in our permanent collection with guided tours of the James Michael and Rubén Vega collections. Visitors will also have the opportunity to get creative and make a take-home disaster-piece with provided random art supplies.
Featured artists include:
-
Neon Perspective, the creative partnership of Aubrey Laux and Jake Wolfe specializing in analog collages, zines, and photography
-
April Miller, a textile storyteller
-
Kati Fritz-Jung, fashion designer, sculptor, nuno felting artist, and Mead Library's Maker-in-Residence
-
Ed Dy, watercolorist
