CALLING ALL MAKERS!

We’re gearing up for the 3rd annual SHEBOYGAN MINI MAKER FAIRE, and you are invited to a MAKER MEET & GREET and INFORMATION SESSION on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 1pm - 3pm!

Join us at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company to mingle, enjoy a beverage, find out more about the event and how to get involved, and let us answer any questions you may have. We will also have hands-on activities for you to try and snacks provided by Meijer.

WHAT IS A MAKER FAIRE?

A Maker Faire is an all-ages event that brings together science, art, craft, homesteading, and engineering plus music, food, and performance. It’s a gathering of fascinating, curious makers who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. We want you to be a part of it!

We are looking for makers to showcase their work, including DIY enthusiasts, businesses, artists, and crafters; presenters who give attendees the opportunity to experience interactive exhibits, and like-minded individuals to inspire creativity and innovation to cultivate maker culture in the Sheboygan community.

We also need sponsors and representatives from local manufacturing, trade, and higher education for our INDUSTRY & EDUCATION EXCHANGE: an opportunity for students, young talent and skilled makers to talk with educators and employers about emerging fields, vocational education, apprenticeships, internships and in-demand skills, manufacturing, and trades.

The Sheboygan Mini Maker Faire, which is organized by Mead Library, Étude, Maker Break, Sheboygan Theatre Company, Red Raider Robotics, and Sheboygan Visual Artists, will take place on June 20, 2020, 10am - 4pm, at Mead Public Library and the City Green.
