 Academy Talk: Investigating the State of Wisconsin’s Democracy, join Dee Hall, co-founder and managing editor of the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism, who will discuss the center’s investigative series examining the state of Wisconsin’s democracy in an era of gerrymandering, secret campaign money, restrictive voting laws and legislative ma­neuvers that weaken the power of regular citizens to influence government, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, Rocca Room. Present­ed in partnership with the Mead Public Library Foundation and the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters. Space is limited. Click here to register in advance and secure your seat.
