Join us third Thursdays each month at Urbane for a book club-like discussion of a film. This is the perfect discussion group for people who want to join in the fun but may not have enough time to read an entire book.

Enjoy a matinee movie each Monday in Mead's fabulous Rocca Room. Here is the Spring lineup:

Lawns are toxic to the environment. Turf is a non-native monoculture with no biodiversity. Grass requires lots of watering, fertilizing, and pesticides. Grass also requires gasoline for the lawnmower and pollutes the environment.

Join retired librarian Kim on third Mondays to discuss a different fiction book each month. Reserve copies are available at the first floor desk a month in advance of meetings.

Crafters of all kinds (e.g. paper, collage, fiber, jewelry, etc.) can meet up for crafting and conversation. BRING YOUR OWN project or work on a project we've created.

Join the Moonlight & Murder book group for mystery book discussions. Meetings are every month at Umi Sushi & Steak House. Food and beverage purchases are at your discretion.

Learn to quilt the Popsicle Party Table Runner by Megan Pitz for Robert Kaufman fabrics with Adrienne Allen of Blue Lotus Designs. 

Basic hand and machine sewing skills are required.

Come join us for this six-week session of Tai Chi led by instructors Jon Doll and Jane Lang on the Mead pavilion (east side of building facing 8th street). Registration is not required and classes are open to all ability levels.

In the Weeds Book Club is brought to you by Sheboygan Active Transportation in collaboration with Paradigm Coffee & Music and Mead Library.
