Two identical 30-minute early literacy storytimes, at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., recommended for children ages 3-5 with a caregiver. Today's theme is "Wild Wheels."

Children will be able to build a model F-4 Phantom Jet & take it home. A local organization, SCAM, assists children with making their models. Preregistration is required beginning March 9. Two sessions will be held.

Presenter Mary Tooley combines multicultural activities, learning, creativity, imagination and fun art projects. One hour long program recommended for grades 2-6.

One-on-one help from Mead volunteers. Learn to use a computer: assistance with mousing, word processing, e-mail, basic Internet, downloading, and EasiCat. People will be helped on a first come, first served basis.

Learn to use the Arduino microprocessor to make interactive projects; watch a demo of the library's 3D printer.

The Horizons4Girls therapy dog, "Faith," will be available for children to read to her at Mead Public Library. Faith is a "Teddy Bear" dog, a Shih Tzu/Bichon Frise mix. Children of all ages may drop in and meet Faith and read her a story.

An exhibit called “Intersections: Art/Poetry,” will be a Final Friday event for EBCO Artworks and Sheboygan Visual Artists. The exhibit will open on Friday, March 18, 2016, from 6-10:00 p.m., with one or more poetry readings during the evening.
