Babies ages newborn to 24 months are invited to bring a parent or caregiver to this fun and engaging storytime, featuring simple books, lap bounces, rhymes and songs - all designed to help baby build important social, motor and early-literacy skil

Join us in the Library Story Garden as we sing, read, write, talk and play our way into kindergarten, strengthening the pre and early literacy skills that your child needs to be successful in school.

Little Listeners Storytime sessions are Early Literacy based and designed for the 2 year old. Participants learn fingerplays, sing songs and enjoy crafts.

Pre-registration is required for this program, as there is limited capacity to spread out and move around the room.  Weekly drop-ins are welcome as space allows, however, pre-registration guarantees you a space.  Contact alison.loewen@me

Come join us for this six-week session of Tai Chi led by instructors Jon Doll and Jane Lang in the beautiful and peaceful Quiet Study Room on the second floor. Registration is not required and classes are open to all ability levels.

Knitters of all skill levels may bring projects to work on. Knit in companionable silence or chat, as you prefer. Help each other out with tips and ideas. At least one very experienced knitter will be at each session to answer questions.

Play-Doh Palooz / Theme - Take the Cake/ Each month there is a different theme kids can also free-style and use their imaginations to create their own designs/ master pieces to take home/ Location - 3rd floor Activity Center. R

Wednesday afternoons in the Imaginarium are just for teens.  Join us from 2:30pm - 4pm on second and fourth Wednesdays for Teen Open Studio time. 

.S.T.E.M. Labs is presented by MilliporeSigma scientists for grades K-6. Registration is required.

Open Studio in the Imaginarium makerspace is open to adults and teens, 6th grade and older.

In this class students with intermediate to advanced level Spanish skills can practice speaking, listening, and reading.

The Book to Art Club combines book discussion with hands-on project making to engage further with literature.

Join us live on ZOOM for an interactive family storytime, where we’ll share books, music, rhymes and tips for developing early literacy skills. Recommended for kindergarten-age students and younger, but all ages are welcome.

Food is an important gateway to begin to experience and understand other cultures. Through this series, participants will cook, eat, and discuss food from another culture while working to gain a deeper understanding of the selected culture.

After a prolonged hiatus we are thrilled to be back hosting trivia first Mondays at Sheboygan's fabulous 8th Street Ale Haus.
