Babies ages newborn to 24 months are invited to bring a parent or caregiver to this fun and engaging storytime, featuring simple books, lap bounces, rhymes and songs - all designed to help baby build important social, motor and early-literacy skil

Join us in the Library Story Garden as we sing, read, write, talk and play our way into kindergarten, strengthening the pre and early literacy skills that your child needs to be successful in school.

Little Listeners Storytime sessions are Early Literacy based and designed for the 2 year old. Participants learn fingerplays, sing songs and enjoy crafts.

Pre-registration is required for this program, as there is limited capacity to spread out and move around the room.  Weekly drop-ins are welcome as space allows, however, pre-registration guarantees you a space.  Contact alison.loewen@me

Join us for a Friends of Mead Library odds & ends sale! A variety of items will be for sale, including office supplies/equipment, puzzles, decor, posters, holiday items, CDs, DVDs and much much more! All items are cash/check and carry.

Table set up outside of the Rocca Meeting Room with free food and beverages.

Join us for grown-up craft time.  Each session features a different hands-on project.  Advanced registration is required.

PLEASE NOTE: Meetings are in-person, but there is a virtual Zoom option available! Meetings will be in the Public Conference Room II on the second floor of the library.

Wednesday afternoons in the Imaginarium are just for teens.  Join us from 2:30pm - 4pm on first and third Wednesdays to experiment with a variety of hands-on making activities.

Masks are required at all programs held inside the library, regardless of vaccination status.

Preregistration Required

Recommended for Grades 2-6

Space is limited.

Open Studio in the Imaginarium makerspace is open to adults and teens, 6th grade and older.

In this class students with intermediate to advanced level Spanish skills can practice speaking, listening, and reading.

Join Leighanne Metter-Jensen to discuss a different non-fiction book each month. Book selections can be checked out at the first floor desk the month prior to discussion.
