What is a Memory Café?

Memory Cafés offer themed social gatherings for people living with memory loss and for their families, friends or care partners.

The program is sponsored by the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Sheboygan County and the Alzheimer's Association.

2025 Schedule

All Cafés are held from 10-11:30 a.m., Fourth Fridays

Registration is recommended to attend individual cafes. Contact the host site to sign up.


WINTER

Memory Caregiver Kits

Mead Library offers Memory Caregiver Kits that are designed to help caregivers engage with people who are experiencing dementia.

The kits contain multiple activities that can build pride and purpose, strengthen relationships, nurture mind and body, provide reassurance and comfort, and hopefully bring joy and smiles to all.  

Music Players

Mead also offers LiftPlayers, which are designed for people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia and come preloaded with music based on the user’s preferences.
