Explore art-making with the Imaginarium's former Maker-in-Residence, Erica Jane Huntzinger during this online class, Art Making with Erica, to add to our growing WATER Book. This book currently lives in the Imaginarium.  Since we are unable to meet in person, let's connect virtually for an art making experience together. We will meet on Zoom every Wednesday in June plus July 1, noon - 1pm.  Each week features a different theme to focus on while you create. The weekly theme is listed below:

Under the water:  what is under the surface of a pond, river, lake or ocean. Which body of water are you drawn to? What might be your subject? You can choose a species of creature or vegetation to draw or document.   Maybe it is a shark, or brightly colored coral reef, tadpoles in the flowing grasses, a shipwreck, or imagine your own underwater scene. Make notes as to where and what it is.

Registration is required so that we can send you a link to the virtual meeting space on Zoom, which will be provided to all registrants shortly before the meeting.

When you are done with your art piece you can submit it to us by either:

  • dropping of your art piece, along with a brief description, at our second floor desk, to be added to our expanding book
  • emailing us a photo of your piece with a brief description. We'll make a copy and place it into the WATER Book.
