Ready for some epic reads? This book club will look at famous epics, literary classics, and great works across cultures. Tales of adventure, drama, comedy, and humanity - there's a reason these stories are still being read today!
We will meet the final Sunday of each month in Jerry Black's Cafe on the first floor of Mead Public Library:
September 30 – The Odyssey by Homer (trans. Emily Wilson)
October 28 – Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
November 25 – Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes (trans. Edith Grossman)
Note that there will be no meeting in December. Book copies may be picked up at Mead Library's second floor reference desk.
