WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
• Students in grades 3 through 12
HOW DOES IT WORK?
• Write a scary story of 800 words or less.
• The story must be your own creation.
• Email your story with your name, grade and school by 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 11 to alison.loewen@meadpl.org.
• Teachers may share a cloud folder or send a single PDF with student entries instead of submitting each
• student’s entry individually.
• Use your imagination to create a thrilling story that has suspense and is scary, but please — no blood or violence.
• Stories will be judged on originality, creativity and quality of writing. Entries will not be returned.
The winners will receive prizes and have their stories published in The Sheboygan Press the week leading up to Halloween
