Event Details

Food is an important gateway to begin to experience and understand other cultures. Through this series, participants will cook, eat, and discuss food from another culture while working to gain a deeper understanding of the selected culture.  Recipe copies and additional readings will be available for pickup at Mead Public Library's 2nd Floor Reference Desk. Participants will cook and read beforehand and then meet in person for a discussion led by Heather Cleveland of Green Bicycle Company. This spring's featured cookbook will be Masala: Recipes from India, the Land of Spices by Anita Jaisinghai. Registration is required.

Meetings will be in person at Green Bicycle Co., located at 1117 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081.

Goodside Grocery will be stocking specialty ingredients. To check availability, call (920) 694-0053.

In partnership with Green Bicycle Co. and Goodside Grocery.
