Join our Animal Scientist-in-Residence Heather Pekrul-Gulig from the Lakeshore Avian and Reptile Rescue and Sanctuary for presentations, visits with rescue animals, experiments and maker projects this fall.

Meet Miss T, the LARRS educational tortoise, and learn all about Sulcata tortoises’ native and non-native regions, wild populations, life expectancy, size, species, physiology, illnesses, diet, and captive keeping.

The residency was funded by a MilliporeSigma science grant.
