Drop-in program with opportunities for kids to build, create, imagine and explore.

Drop-in recommended for grades K-6. Create a new LEGO project monthly. Work alone or with others. The library has a supply of LEGOs, so no need to bring your own.

Masks are available at the library.

Kids can create and take home their own clothespin puppet. All supplies provided. This is a drop in event between 10:00 -12:00 in the Activity Center 3rd floor.

Do you like to imagine, experiment and make amazing things? Join us for a reading of the bestselling picture book “Rosie Revere, Engineer” and to try your hand at making a Rosie-Copter fly. All ages welcome, but best for ages 7-11.

Wednesday afternoons in the Imaginarium are just for teens.  Join us from 2:30pm - 4pm on second and fourth Wednesdays for Teen Open Studio time. 

Learn basic hand and machine sewing techniques with Elaine Jacks.  This 4-week course is designed for the sewing beginner and will be hands-on with weekly projects.

One-on-one help from Mead volunteers. Learn how to:

Learn to 3D print on the Ender 3 Pro during this 4-week series for beginners. Registration is on the first date of the series, and students must attend all four weeks.

Open Studio in the Imaginarium makerspace is open to adults and teens, 6th grade and older.

Join the Moonlight & Murder book discussion group for mystery book discussions.  Meetings are every other month, alternating with the Romance on the Rocks Book Club.

Introduction to SoulCollage® is an art form where participants create their own personal energy/wisdom cards through collage, using images that you find in magazines or books.

The Fiction Book Discussion Book Group led by retired librarian Kim is back in action for monthly in-person discussions.
