Join us in the Library Story Garden as we sing, read, write, talk and play our way into kindergarten, strengthening the pre and early literacy skills that your child needs to be successful in school.

Little Listeners Storytime sessions are Early Literacy based and designed for the 2 year old. Participants learn fingerplays, sing songs and enjoy crafts.

Stories, Songs, and Stretches!® envisions an entire generation of mindful kids who are school-ready in body, heart, and mind.   The program is held in the Story Garden on the third floor of the Library.

The Friends of Mead will be hosting an open house to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each, enter for a chance to win 3 different prizes, all valued at over $300.

PLEASE NOTE: Meetings are in-person, but there is a virtual Zoom option available! Meetings will be in the Public Conference Room II on the second floor of the library.

Wednesday afternoons in the Imaginarium are just for teens.  Join us from 2:30pm - 4pm on second and fourth Wednesdays for Teen Open Studio time. 

S.T.E.M. Labs is presented by MilliporeSigma scientists for grades K-6. Todays event make "Unique as your fingerprint".  This is a fun way to experience STEM projects for FREE. 

Open Studio in the Imaginarium makerspace is open to adults and teens, 6th grade and older.

In this class students with intermediate to advanced level Spanish skills can practice speaking, listening, and reading.

Gardening 102: held Tuesday May 10th : 5:45pm to 7:45pm in the Imaginarium on the 2nd floor of the library.

The Book to Art Club combines book discussion with hands-on project making to engage further with literature.

Once you have completed Introduction to SoulCollage®, you may attend the follow-up workshops. Marci Zink is the certified SoulCollage® facilitator for the class.

Join Leighanne Metter-Jensen to discuss a different non-fiction book each month. Book selections can be checked out at the first floor desk the month prior to discussion.

Food is an important gateway to begin to experience and understand other cultures. Through this series, participants will cook, eat and discuss food from another culture while working to gain a deeper understanding of the selected culture.
